Kjörorka ehf joins PDC International as our exclusive retailer in Iceland.  Headquartered in Reykjavik, Kjörorka was founded in 1947 distributing electrical equipment to both the building industry and farming community, and has since expanded their business into the spa industry.  In the last few years Kjörorka has developed a unique spa control and heating system that uses geothermal water plentiful in Iceland.  The first joint project between PDC and Kjörorka involves delivering PDC spas equipped with this control system to recreational cottages across the Icelandic countryside.  Kjörorka will also sell and service the full PDC product line through their Reykjavik spa showroom, the largest in Iceland.

Highwood USA, Inc. met our unusual request to build a white hot tub - acrylic color and composite profile cabinetry - for installation on a yacht built in England. The yacht maker requested the unit built within two weeks, and  airfreighted in 10 days. Highwoods provided the cabinet material and PDC met the demands. The yacht maker was so pleased with the response and quality construction that he has requested additional units.
